Sustainability

Efficiencies for Today and Tomorrow.

Since 1986, we’ve treated sustainability as part of the craft. It’s embedded in how we think, plan, and build. From waste reduction and smart sourcing to healthy interiors and long-term durability, we build homes that perform, last and live well.

Why Sustainable Building Matters

Structures that endure for the environment and daily life.

Reduction and recycling are standard practices. We minimize disruption and reduce waste through deconstruction rather than demolition, whenever possible. On many projects, we support the land itself by incorporating native planting, permeable paving and storm water strategies.

We plan ahead to eliminate rework and keep the job moving. Our teams use digital tools to streamline coordination and cut down waste. And, many of our homes include solar, geothermal, HRVs and high-performance assemblies, which are all installed with precision by our craftspeople.

Clean and safe jobsites are achieved through low- and no-VOC products, HEPA filtration and radiant systems to help create spaces that feel better. We prioritize healthy materials, thermal comfort and clean air throughout the construction process.
